Sometimes I concern myself. I was just sitting around thinking about names. Names of pornstars. Specifically names of some of the ladies of the 80’s. We know that most of the girls in the golden age of porn (just like the girls in the business today) used artistic names. Stage names. Aliases. That’s cool. I just wonder how and why they came up with some of them. For instance, let’s consider the babe on the left. Her name is Christy Canyon. Great name – sort of rolls off the tongue. Christy Canyon. I hear the DJ at the strip club growling it out right now. But here is the thing. Take a look at Christy. Anything “pop out” at you? Doesn’t it seem like maybe she would have thought about a name like… oh, I don’t know… um… Misty Mountains? I mean a canyon is a big hole, right? A large depression in the ground. (Easy, save your “big hole” jokes for someone else.) I just wonder how she came up with the name, that’s all.
