The golden age of porn began in 1972 and extended into the mid-80’s. 70’s porn is significant because for the first time hardcore sex was being scene on “the big screen”. Prior to that most “porn” was softcore with the exception of the loops and smokers that were restricted to private viewings. If the 70’s brought us an upgrade in quality and stories, the 80’s brought us an upgrade in young talent. The stars of the 70’s – women like Georgina Spelvin, Gloria Leonard, Annette Haven, Juliet Anderson (Aunt Peg) and Serena – were mostly in their late 20’s or 30’s. As talented as they were, there were obviously not innocents.
The 80’s brought a wave of teenagers – or girls barely into their twenties – to the adult entertainment industry. Traci Lords and Ali Moore were extreme cases, both beginning their careers as under-aged minors. But there were several other legal girls jumping at the chance to strip and spread for the cameras. Candy Evans, Careena Collins, Ginger Lynn, Bambi, Kimberly Carson, Raven, Blondi Bee and Racquel Darrian come quickly to mind. As does Bunny Bleu, the pixie in the picture. Bunny obiviously liked sex, and even though she was young she seemed at home with both guys and girls.
